Custom Open Die and Hammer Forgings

Custom open die and hammer forgings are a Solmet specialty. Experienced in heating and forging a variety of metals, Solmet routinely works with:

Solmet routinely forges squares, rounds and custom shapes in weights up to 3,000 lbs. and can forge lengths up to 180 inches.

Solmet was a pioneer in the outsource testing of industry standard metallurgical test samples for primary steel producers. Met sample types include:
